MyID Mail™ from Intercede® provides secure mobile email using PIV, CAC or other PKI credentials. Sign and encrypt communications using a fully featured Exchange ActiveSync email client on iPhone or iPad with either external (smart card held) or internal certificates.

This solution is compatible with the latest FIPS 201 smart card standards, with automatic support for on-card retired encryption certificates in addition to live encryption certificates. This enables historic encrypted emails to be read.

All data is stored securely at rest using AES-256 encryption.

In order to configure the MyID Mail App for connection to the Microsoft Exchange Mail server, you can use either username/password or a client certificate (soft certs: .cer or .pfx) issued from the organisation. See "https://mobilemyid.com/tiki-view_faq.php?faqId=3" for more details on using a client certificate for the connection.

Key features:
• Fully featured Microsoft Exchange client
• Supports email, calendar, contacts etc.
• Keeps corporate data separate from personal data
• All corporate data held encrypted on-device
• Supports signed and encrypted emails
• Works with smart cards and in-app certificates
• User friendly, allowing rapid roll-out
• Compatible with the MyID Identity Agent (available on iTunes)

Acting as a stand-alone solution, or capable of integrating with MDM vendors, MyID Mail provides a secure and easy-to-deploy solution for organizations looking to make BYOD an affordable reality.

To use in-app certificates, MyID Mail integrates with the industry leading secure credential manager, MyID Server and its client, the MyID Mobil Identity Agent. This makes the management and delivery of certificates within a corporate environment simple and secure.

MyID Mail currently supports Precise Tactivo™ card readers for iOS devices (iPad and iPhone with 20-pin or lightning connectors). Additional readers and secure elements (Tyfone, iCarte®, Feitian etc.), smart cards (such as Gemalto Cyberflex) and biometric authentication can also be supported; please contact Intercede for further information concerning these options.
